Pros-Close to Times Square, theatre district, eats, convenience stores, transportation, etc...you can literally walk to the theatres from here. Room was exceptionally clean., I personally loved the elevator system. Not a pro or con: Yes, the hotel is old and the age is visible in certain areas of the room and furniture. But, overall, kept well for it's age. More modern and more room will mean more money in NY. If you just need someplace to sleep and bathe this is comfy enough to get that done. Cons-disregard pics...rooms are extremely small. Even elevator was small. The bathroom is too small to even change clothes in. The beds, although comfy, were low to ground. We upgraded to a room with a "view" but the view was nothing to write home about.

Os quartos são pequenos e não tem frigobar mas isto acelera o processo de checkout, a gente faz as malas, fecha a porta e vai embora, escapa de filas e perda de tempo. Tambémnãotem café da manhã,mas nãofaltam opçõesem volta. É um hotel muito grande, tem 1300 quartos e a agilidade do staff é de primeira linha. Me sinto bem quando me hospedo no ROW.

Changing to a 1. I’ve been chasing down a receipt for over a week. No one will assist. No one returns emails. The answering service cannot provide any contact method other than to call a number where the operator just routes you back. Avoid this place at all costs. Yes, the price and location are great. The rest, not so much. The elevators have a wait of about 15-30 minutes any time you want to go anywhere. The restaurant/lobby area is closed off often, and there are no outlets to work from. The "business center" is an open area by the front desk. The rooms are tiny, as expected. My room was clean, but my colleague's was filthy. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel that I wouldn't return to, but this will be it. I am also trying to chase down a receipt, which has lead to multiple unanswered emails to billing, calls that are transferred and dropped, a front desk that is "too busy" to get to it today and cannot assist, and finally one pleasant person working in reservations that is trying to chase it down for me. If it wasn't for her, this would be a 1.

Meu nome é Sergio, fiquei no Apto 2106. neste hotel de 13 a 19 abril 2022. FURTARAM de nosso quarto uma mala de mão, no dia 14, com conteúdos adquiridos em Las Vegas, Los Angeles e San Francisco e mais meu celular. Éramos dois casais viajando juntos. Chamei a segurança que fotografou o local, recolheu todas a s informações e pediu para aguardar pesquisa. No dia seguinte conversei com "gerente" que nada mais era senão o chefe da segurança MIKE que garantiu nada ter acontecido, não havia qualquer vestígio nas imagens.(Chegamos às 3 da manhã, vindos de San Francisco. A recepção estava vazia.) Eu queria ver essa imagem e mostrar a ele a referida mala. Ele argumentou ser proibida a exibição de imagem de câmera aos clientes?? Desconversou e queria me convencer que eu perdera essa mala antes de entrar no Hotel. Recomendou ir a polícia ou ao consulado que fica na 41E. Fui à polícia que não quis fazer ocorrência. Porém a partir do dia 15 eles reforçaram e triplicarama segurança em todas as áreas. Coincidência. PS um funcionário relatou que rackers na Broadway, tinham roubado senhas de cartão de acesso aos quartos de vários hotéis da vizinhança.

Muy buena ubicación en la zona de teatros. Pero considero que abusan de su ubicación privilegiada y no se preocupan por mantener un hotel de calidad. El hotel se siente muy descuidado, poco limpio. La habitaciones de buen tamaño pero la alfombra se ve muy vieja, las paredes sucias y rotas. Deberían de invertir en renovar un hotel del que sacan mucho provecho, porque barato no es.

CORRECTION ABOUT ROOM SIZE - SEE BELOW We had a Deluxe City View room with 2 double beds for 2 adults, 2 children (teens). . The size of the room was comfortable for NY sizes. We had room to stow our luggage (we had 2 large pieces). This room was larger than the New Yorker, where we stayed a few years back - at that hotel there was no room for luggage and we were walking over it. It was pretty tight. This room was comfortable. Good TV quality, nice view. Room was quiet. I never heard anyone above us or rarely in the hallway. Staff was very nice and the housekeeping team was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would comment on is that I noticed that the room was not vacuumed every day. I did leave a nice note requesting that it be done and it was (we often brought pizza home and no matter how hard we tried, we made a few crumbs). Location wise, it's great if you want to be in the thick of things and by the theaters. It wasn't our first choice but our first hotel closed so we had to find an alternative. Still, a good deal and quality for the price.

Tivemos problemas com o hotel do começo ao fim, o que desgastou muito a minha viagem e me fez querer ir embora da cidade o mais rápido possível. Primeiramente, logo após o check in, um funcionário cujo nome eu desconheço, mas que trabalha na recepção do hotel pela noite nos tratou super mal, foi extremamente mal educado quando fomos pedir uma simples informação e deixou claro que tem zero paciência pra brasileiros. Além disso, dois dias depois tivemos a pior parte: fomos furtadas dentro do próprio quarto de hotel. Passamos o dia fora do hotel, e inclusive houve limpeza de quarto nesse dia. Quando chegamos por volta das 23h, nossas malas e bolsas estavam abertas e bem diferentes do jeito que as deixamos. Quando abri minha carteira que estava dentro da mochila, percebi que haviam furtado os 200 dólares que eu havia deixado lá. Além disso, foram furtadas também uma pulseira minha da Vivara e mais um anel de ouro da minha amiga. Relatamos tudo ao hotel e à equipe de segurança, foi um desgaste terrível, e no final não deu em nada: os seguranças pediram pra esperarmos as investigações, mas só deram uma resposta quando faltava 2 horas pro nosso check out e disseram que ninguém entrou lá além da camareira. Ficamos no prejuízo sem os dólares, sem o anel e sem a pulseira. Isso conseguiu estragar nossa viagem e a decepção com o hotel foi extremamente grande. Não me sentia mais segura nem dentro do próprio quarto. O hotel fez um total descaso com a gente e sequer nos reembolsaram, mesmo acompanhando nosso estado e nossas reclamações. Estou profundamente decepcionada e vou falar pra todas as pessoas que eu conhecer pra NUNCA se hospedarem nesse hotel. Decepcionada demais.

Hotel é simples, tem todas as amenidades mas o quarto é bem pequenininho, simples e com alguns móveis desalinhados.Ar condicionado bem barulhento, gelava e esquentava.O que é mais legal nesse hotel é a localização. Para quem quer curtir NYC andando, você estará no centro da cidade. Um quarteirão da Time Square, (aqui os quarteirões são bem grandes, então tome cuidado pq você vai andar muito)Tem fácil acesso a trem, metrô, ônibus (tanto de turismo quanto para o aeroporto e outras cidades).De metrô são uns 30 min até o pier da estátua da liberdade. Uns 20 até metade do central parque.Gerente falava português e foi super simpático com a gente.Tem lugar para guardar as malas e os guardadoeres são simpáticos mas "cobram gorjeta" como é costume aqui, infelizmente.Compramos a acomodação meio que em cima da hora e por isso o preço estava alto. Se estiver com preço bom é uma boa escolha.

Estamos actualmente alojados en el hotel. Lo elegimos ya que hace unos 7 años vinimos a NYC y estuvimos en este hotel. Nos gustó mucho en su momento. Actualmente está descuidado. Las habitaciones no tienen los servicios que anuncian como cafeteara o base para ipod/iPhone. Las máquinas de hielo no existen o están rotas. Habitaciones viejas Hoy ni siquiera han hecho la habitación ni cambiando toallas o retirado la basura. No repetiremos.

Nos gustó mucho quedarnos en este hotel, porque estaba cerca de Times Square y cerca de todo lo útil (cafeterías, pequeño supermercado, metro…) Varios ascensores para poder acceder a la habitación, zonas comunes limpias y personal super amable. En cuanto a la habitación el tamaño nos pareció correcto, teníamos dos maletas de mano y una de facturación y no sentimos que nos faltase espacio. El equipo de limpieza de los cuartos organizaba la habitación a diario, cambiando toallas e incluso pedimos una almohada extra y nos asistieron al momento. En cuanto a ruidos, un par de días nos quedamos hasta tarde durmiendo y no sentimos jaleo que nos despertase y la cortina para tapar la luz era bastante eficiente. Lo recomendamos al 100%

I stayed at the Row NYC recently and it was relatively cheap, pleasant and the location is perfect! I enjoyed it, but I had reasonable expectations. It is not high end luxury 5-star service like the Four Seasons or Intercontinental so don’t expect that. The rooms are acceptably clean, the staff is nice enough until the day you check out and then their bipolar switch gets thrown. I got a comfortable bed with heating/air conditioning and hot water. I was in NYC to enjoy being outside and about; not enjoy being in the room and it did fulfill that basic need.

Os quartos são pequenos e apertados, assim como os corredores do prédio. A equipe do hotel é boa e atenciosa e as camareiras sempre simpáticas e deixam o quarto bem limpo e organizado. Há uma pequena área de alimentação no lobby para quem não quiser ir na rua.

Pésima gestión. Reservamos habitaciones para 4 personas en camas separadas y cuando llegamos eran 10 habitaciones de dos personas con una cama "doble" que rozabaen realidad lo individual. Además, justo en el momento previo a nuestra salida pudimos observar cargos que no correspondían con lo acordado a través del portal. No lo recomiendo.

Zona muy turísticay por tanto muchas suciedad y mucho homeless. Personal poco amable Mucho ruido del ascensor en algunas habitaciones. Si te quejas te cambiancon el comentario : "ya están los españoles quejándose" Te cobran un depósito que de momento no me han devuelto ....

The hotel was in a perfect spot. Walking distance to everything! It was my first time in New York so I expected a small room but this one didn't even have a fridge or microwave.It was so small like a dorm room. It was very clean though. You have to let the shower run a while before the hot water kicks in. I think if you're not too high maintenance, it is a good hotel. I would stay there again.

A localização e a cama são boas, o serviço de quarto também é bom. Mas o quarto parece não ter uma boa acústica. Acordei todas as vezes de madrugada por questão de barulho ou de fora da rua, ou dos outros quartos ou corredor. Além disso os elevadores são bem sujos e tem uma sensação meio estranha dormir aqui...

Apesar da localização ser boa, o hotel é extremamente sujo: Elevador sujo, áreas comuns sujas e quarto absurdamente PEQUENO. É claustrofóbico ficar dentro do quarto. Falando ainda em limpeza, assim que fiz o check in no quarto, havia CABELO na banheira do meu quarto. Vaza água da banheira após tomar banho e o banheiro cabe apenas 1 pessoa. Além de tudo isso, por haver muitos hóspedes, durante a madrugada eu ouvia pessoas no corredor gritando, bebada, conversando…. Um terror!!!!!!!!!Nas fotos do site do hotel, ele parece ser moderno, novo, elegante e aconchegante. É mal cuidado, sujo e minúsculo.

A pesar de la baja calificación que tiene en despegar, la cual me tuvo en duda al momento de reservar un hotel, mi estadia fue más de lo que esperaba, excelente trato del personal, la limpieza excelente, sin contar lo sucio que es la gente (culturas diferentes). Siendo temporada baja (invierno) el hotel recibe a mucha gente, tiene 6 ascensores pero son antiguos y lento, lo que hace que se formen cola para acceder a las habitaciones, no cuenta con frigobar en las habitación. Tienen closet (solo para colgar prendas) caja fuerte del tamaño para guardar un notebook, baño con tina, tv con cable nacional, un pequeño escritorio. Algunas habitaciones cuentan con cama king size (la 2240 por ejemplo donde me tocó). Excelente ubicación ( a 2 cuadras del time square), recomendado para estadias cortas y/o vacaciones en pareja.

For being a four star hotel, my experience was pretty terrible. The room had dingy curtains and a stained tub. The room was tiny and you could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms.The cleaning staff was great considering that everything was old and I'm not sure there was anything they could have done better to brighten up the dingy materials. I didn't really interact with other staff, but one of the front desk receptionists was super super rude.The elevator situation is also terrible. They need more than one elevator bank instead of a single bank with multiple elevators.They also don't let food delivery come up and there is no in room service from the hotel.If this had been a two star hotel it would have been fine. Considering the price, location, and stars, I just expected a lot more .

Hotel itself wasn’t terrible, how ever there is a hidden amenity fee that they do not tell you about until you get to the front desk. Room was tiny, did not have a microwave or fridge.If you don’t want to use the stupid gym you still have to pay for it. No continental breakfast, just a bar with overpriced drinks. Good for sleeping and that’s about it. Can’t recommend.

This was the perfect spot for my stay in NYC. The location is unbeatable, close to everything with endless late night food options. The price is right, so I don’t have many qualms with the hotel’s quirks. The rooms are “modern” but a little worn out, and the elevators were extremely slow as there were so many guests trying to access the same floors. However, the staff was kind and helpful, and my requests were filled quickly and efficiently, a big plus! If you need a cheap room while you enjoy the sights and sounds of NYC, this is the place for you!

No se queden! Fue lo que hizo mi viaje a ny una pésima experiencia. Las habitaciones asquerosas, no limpian bien. Pelos por todos lados. Los aditamentos del baño rotos, los pasillos se sienten como si estuvieras en un calabozo. Me toco que alado de nosotros había una chica que salía todas las noches de su habitación y ahí comía. El ambiente y la gente deja mucho que desea, las habitaciones son un huevo. No se dejen engañar por las fotos porque no tienen nada que ver. Lo único bonito del hotel es la entrada antes de subir las escaleras. Arruino mi viaje, por un poco más puedes pagar el riu que está mil veces mejor e incluye desayuno. Ahí me quede hace dos años pero esta ocasión no Encontre. Jamás en la vida volvería al rowIt does not look like the photos at all. They don’t clean the rooms the way they’re supposed to. Hairs all over the sheets, it was the worst experience ever , for a little bit more you could stay at the riu way better. The only good thing about the hotel is the entrance . Location was the best. I walked out of the hotel and was in Times Square. However, there was only one person working the desk when I arrived, so check-in took an hour. The room served its purpose for the amount of time I needed it, but it was small, very small. The drawers stayed open. I don’t know why, but they would not shut and stood wide open. The bathroom door had to be propped open to stay open. Maybe that’s a NY fire hazard precaution for the door to automatically stay shut. There is really no privacy in the rooms. The doors have a gap at the bottom which brought in the noise from the hallway and allowed me to hear every conversation going in in the rooms when I walked down the hall. Also, I needed ice one night but discovered there was none on my floor. The lighting in the halls needs to be turned up. It was a little dark. If you have bad knees, these beds might not work for you. They are low. On the bright side, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and without bugs. The staff was always very helpful if I needed help with anything. Checkout is beautiful; just drop the key in the box. I had to leave out at 3:00am. All in all, not a bad experience, but some things could be better.

Nuestra experiencia fue muy buena. El personal fue muy amable siempre, el servicio de aseo funcionaba bien, buen acceso y ubicación. Incluso, perdimos el vuelo de regreso y volvimos al hotel, y tuvimos que quedarnos una noche más y nos dieron una habitación doble cuando pagué por una simple. Lo único que no nos acomoda es que no hay servicio de desayuno. Lo recomiendo.

I truly enjoyed my stay. I loved the view, the bed is comfy. Good location. Cleaning Lady’s on point. However, I would have loved to see at least a microwave or a small freezer in our room.They should also have a bathroom odor filter. If there was one, it wasn’t working.

Faço questão de avaliar esse hotel, já que ele é muito procurado, principalmente por viajantes da América Latina. Mesmo com a cotação alta do dólar, as diárias ainda são atrativas e com bom custo benefício. O principal ponto do hotel: localização! Fica a poucos passos da Times Square. Perto você tem lojas, diversas peças de teatro da Broadway (Fantasma da ópera ao lado), restaurantes, lojas e etc. Sobre o prédio: é uma edificação histórica e antiga, antes se chamava Milford Plaza. Apesar de ter sido reformado, é inegável que o hotel é bem defasado. A recepção tem um look moderno e uma loja de conveniência e um café. Você pode deixar as suas malas caso ainda não seja o horário do check in. Detalhe importante: eles cobram uma resort fee (embora o hotel não tenha piscina, spa e etc), porém é cobrado no momento do checkin. Os elevadores são antigos, porém bem rápidos. Os carpetes são velhos. Sobre os quartos: cama, tv e chuveiro bons. O meu quarto estava com um cheiro forte de cigarro, que depois saiu. Enfim, levando em conta a localização e o preço, vale a pena!

Cool lobby. Nice staff. Small rooms that are not spotless. Cool views though. Good if you're not that picky about your hotel rooms being spotless. One member of our group was staying behind for a few extra days and the hotel let them stay in the 2 bed room at no extra charge even though they had booked a 1 bed room!

It was my first time by myself in NY city, and let me tell you this hotel was a great choice for me. First: Customer service was always friendly. Everytime I had a question they would answer with a smile on their faces. Second: I got a room on the 22 floor, which gave me an impressive view of NY city. It was an outstanding view from my window. 3: This wonderful hotel is close to everything around the area. It's location helped me tremendously with everything I needed to do. 2 things I didn't like about it were the fact that they charge around 35-40 Dollars for early check in. The one thing I didn't like either was the fact that they charge you 100 Dollars extra, which would be reimbursed later. Thank you

In reality hotel would be a 3 star- if it weren’t for their price point that makes the hotel quality acceptable. Don’t expect a fancy high end hotel, it’s a little worn out in places - but overall a hip hotel very close to all the hot tourist spots in NYC for very reasonable price. Check in was quick, especially for such a large hotel. Room and halls were dirty, not grossly so just not meticulously maintained. Furniture was a little worn, but the beds were fairly fresh and comfortable. Rooms are smaller than normal, but not much smaller than a normal NYC room so don’t worry about that at all. Overall if you’re looking for a family friendly and budget friendly place close to Times Square but don’t want to be grossed out this place will do the trick.

I was so worried about the bad reviews I read. I'm happy to report that I did not observe or experience any of the problems noted in the negative reviews. My room was fantastic. The bed was wonderful. Using the elevators was incredibly easy and would arrive seconds after pressing the buttons. As for being dark, yes, the hallways seemed dimly lit although I think that's supposed to be a mood lighting. I think it could be brighter but I liked it. I'm also glad to say I saw NO, NO, NO homeless people there! The hotel was perfect and clean. The staff were so helpful and kind. It took about 5 minutes to check in. Also the food court area and the hangout area at the top of the stairs was a wonderful addition to the hotel. Lastly, the best thing is the location. You can't beat it! I will stay here again when I return to Times Square.

Decent hotel—great location with no frills rooms. Customer service is lacking. Had to wait in line 15 minutes at 11:00 PM for then to give me a new card key. Need they need to figure out how to prioritize v. One big line fits all when there are multiple people checking in.

Charming hotel in the perfect location. The reception can get really busy so keep that in mind upon checking in. They offer complementary luggage storage which is awesome. Really close to time square, 5th Avenue and metro stops. Getting there was easy from the airport train and going back too. The rooms are trendy and small, but It’s NY in the heart of the city. I believe it’s worth the price, great location, clean, helpful services and staff.
